vable partial denture\, to create a stable and clasp less esthetic replace
ment for multiple missing teeth\;The importance of RPD design\;The surgica
l and prosthetic nuances of the somewhat controversial placement of four i
mplants in the maxillary arch\, to retain unsplinted implants supporting a
palateless complete overdenture\; andDetails of fabrication and laborator
y support for the two-implant overdenture in the mandibular arch\, the “st
andard of care” for the edentulous mandible.The hands-on session will allo

practice.Speaker Information: Dr. Kenneth S. KurtzDr. Kurtz is a Cum Laude
graduate of SUNY Albany and received his DDS degree from the New York Uni
versity College of Dentistry (NYUCD). After practicing general dentistry f
or a dozen years\, Dr. Kurtz received prosthodontic specialty training at
Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Maxillof
acial Prosthetic training at the Columbia University School of Dental and
Oral Surgery/Bronx VAMC. He completed the NYU Implant Fellowship in 2009.
Dr. Kurtz is board certified in prosthodontics\, the specialty of implant\
, esthetic\, and reconstructive dentistry. Dr. Kurtz holds academic appoin
tments and presently teaches at two metropolitan area graduate prosthodont
ic training programs. He is a Clinical Professor and Director of the Divis
ion of Maxillofacial Prosthetics at Stony Brook University School\, of Den
